A true 'man's rod'
Believed to have been made between 1879 and 1886 this fine rod is all original with spiked ferrules and hanging rings, nickel silver reel seat and rattan grip One butt, two mids and one tip. Red silk wraps and intermediates. One flip ring is missing. Original bag.
Markings include Patent on reel seat - Pat. May 31 1880
